Cashbook and expenses

Count the galla at night, and have it match.

Every cash sale, khata payment and expense lands in Bisro's cashbook. It keeps the cash in your drawer apart from UPI, so the number on screen is the money you can actually count.

Cash in the drawer, UPI in the bank. Never mixed.

Most cashbooks add everything into one total, and then the drawer never matches. Bisro's galla balance counts only cash, the money you can actually hold.

UPI payments go to their own Online / UPI Balance. At closing time you count the drawer against the galla, and check UPI on your phone.

Questions about the cashbook

Do I have to enter sales in the cashbook?

No. Bills and khata payments you record appear in the cashbook by themselves. You only add expenses and other cash entries.

Why doesn't UPI money show in the galla?

The galla balance is the cash in your drawer. UPI money is kept in the Online / UPI Balance, so the drawer count can match.

What if the drawer doesn't match?

Tap Reconcile and add an adjustment entry for the difference, so tomorrow starts from the right amount.

Does yesterday's cash carry forward?

Yes. The galla balance carries forward, and each day shows its opening balance.

Can I download my expenses?

Yes. Download an expense report as a PDF.
